About the practice

Nova Collective Therapy

Nova Collective Therapy is a private counseling practice founded by Jasmine Vieira, LPC. It was created to provide modern, thoughtful mental health care centered on depth, clarity, and meaningful transformation, for people who are functioning outwardly but want something to feel genuinely different on the inside.

Why "Collective"

The name Nova Collective reflects a philosophy as much as a structure. Therapy, at its best, is collaborative, a coming-together of your history, your insight, and clinical support to create movement that would be difficult to find alone. Today, Nova Collective Therapy is led by one therapist, Jasmine Vieira. The name also reflects where the practice is headed: a future in which additional clinicians join under the same commitment to depth, clarity, and honest, relational care.

I believe people are not broken, even when their patterns are painful or confusing. Most of what clients bring into therapy—anxiety, shutdown, people-pleasing, reactivity, avoidance—developed as intelligent responses to real experiences. Understanding that is often the first step. The next is building enough insight and skill to have more choice in how you respond, relate, and care for yourself going forward.

I integrate reflective, insight-oriented work with practical, body-aware, and experiential approaches, because lasting change usually requires more than intellectual understanding alone.

My clinical philosophy

Meet your therapist

Jasmine Vieira, MS, LPC

I became a therapist because I am genuinely curious about people—how experiences shape us, why certain patterns persist even when we understand them, and what actually helps someone move from feeling stuck to feeling like themselves again. That curiosity is still at the center of how I work.

Therapy with me is relational and collaborative. I am not a therapist who sits back silently while you do all the work alone—I will ask thoughtful questions, reflect what I notice, and gently name patterns even when that is uncomfortable. At the same time, I hold a lot of warmth for the fact that most of what brings people to therapy developed for good reasons, often as a way of surviving something difficult.

I work with adults ages 18 and older navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, self-worth, identity, relationship patterns, and major life transitions. I tend to work especially well with people who are insightful and self-aware but still feel stuck—who have already tried to think their way through the problem and are ready for something that goes deeper than that.

If this feels like a fit, I'd welcome the chance to work together.
